MAG522w3 is a premium set-top box that features wireless connectivity thanks to an integral dual-band Wi-Fi module offering speeds of up to 100 Mbps in 2.4 GHz mode and up to 550 Mbps in 5 GHz mode. Therefore, you can place the device virtually anywhere, even where no hard-wired data connection is available.

Powered by the Amlogic S905X2 chipset with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.9 GHz at its heart, MAG522w3 brings you a massive 25% increase in performance over previous-generation devices. Furthermore, the device can operate continuously for several months without needing rebooting, while the Linux 4.9 operating system lifts the user experience to a new level.

All modern video formats are supported, including 4K, where a compatible TV set is available. Furthermore, the H.264 codec support of previous-generation devices has given way to the doubly powerful HEVC when offered by your streaming service.
