MAG524 is a set-top box powered by Linux OS. This device is driven by the Amlogic S905X2 chipset, and its ARM Cortex-A53 processor is 25% more efficient than the one in previous generation set-top boxes. Thanks to this hardware, MAG524 works reliably and can go for several months without rebooting. The set-top box has an Ethernet port, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, and HDMI 2.1 output. Its ergonomic MicroFusion design will fit any interior.
The media player supports HEVC1 and high dynamic range (HDR). With these features, the device can easily stream 4K2 content at 60 fps even at slow Internet speeds.
Eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™3 sound enables users to enjoy high-quality audio on modern TVs, home theaters, and audio systems. The pure surround sound helps viewers get an immersive experience and feel like they are actually part of a movie, TV series, or TV show.
MAG524 connects to the Internet via an Ethernet cable. This ensures a stable connection and constant internet speed of up to 100 Mbps, which facilitates smooth content playback.
The modern IR remote control, made from matte anti-slip ABS, ensures users can conveniently control the device. The remote control offers practically maintenance-free operation, with every button designed to withstand 300,000 presses.

Included with the set-top box is an ergonomically designed IR remote control. Made from non-slip ABS plastic, it sits firmly and comfortably in your hand, letting you conveniently control your device. Each button on it is designed to withstand 300,000 presses.
USB ports for your mouse and keyboard
The set-top box features two USB ports: one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0. The former is ideal for peripherals like mice and keyboards. The increased data rates of the latter make it a perfect choice for attaching external storage.
